Well it seems to be the end of a very wet summer. Although a little bit damp, North Brook End has had a great summer. The five young horses that we presented to the Britsh Breeders Futurity Scheme were all awarded first premiums with Ava Louella reaching the British Breeders Championships at Addington. Ava was placed fourth in the two year old section, great result for her.
The young horse who were awarded first diplomas:
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all the people that helped to bath, plait, and polish for the run up to the competition.
For three days in August we had a five ladies come to stay on a senior camp!! The three days involved flat work training, showjumping training, a taster of cross country and something a little different. The group had a taster of breaking the young horse, a driving demonstration, a shiatsu demo and core stability work shop! Much fun was had by all as well as a little bit of learning along the way. Plans are to hold regular training days in the future, so please email if you are interested.
Well done to Sophie and Paddington who had good results at Stoneleigh and even more fun at prize giving!!
